Oh this wasn’t the original chicken we were questioning haha this is a different one. As they got older my RIR got more hen-like and this Easter Egger became more roo-like.- amstultz

She was just a tomboy. Haven’t gotten any eggs yet, but they’re all still a bit young. We put the little ones in with the older ones about a week later and they were okay. Totally! There’s a specific one (sometimes two) that ALWAYS greets me at the door when I come over, no matter what, and she was right in the middle of the little pile having a great time ignoring me lol:love- amstultz

It is inside their run! That makes sense, a few of them have individually burrowed into the ground the past few days but today they were all doing it We’re working on a good fence to keep the dogs out of the side yard right now. It should be done tomorrow and they’ll have a lot more room to roam...- amstultz

We separated them. The bigger chick stopped pecking at them (but would still occasionally charge and scare the littles) after I sat there and would hold her down to the ground when she’d go after them. Ahahah well wow all of this is news. Only thing I’m 99.99% sure of anymore is that they are all chickens! :idunno I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what they grow up to be haha- amstultz
