    Any updated pictures of what they turned out to look like? I just hatched a chick that looks just like your chicks. Mama is a buff orpington and the rooster is a blue maran.

    Hi all, I was told my hen is an olive egger(Cream Legbar crossed with Blue Splash Maran) but today she laid her first egg and it's a dark brown( pic of egg to the far right, the lil one). Does that mean she's not a true olive egger? Thank you 😊

    Hi, this is my Easter egger, Blondie lol( she was the lightest of all my hens) Her coloring is very unique compared to my others. I don't know a whole lot about different breeds but I would guess she's part wyandotte? If so what color eggs do they normally lay?

    I'm wondering the same thing. My 17 week old rooster dipped his wing to an older hen today and she did it back to him. It looked like it confused him and he walked away Lol

    Hi, I thought I'd give updated pictures of my two olive eggers. The one is definitely a rooster. No crow yet though but he is in with an older flock, so I'm assuming that could be why.

    The funny thing is we were arranging to pick up a rooster in two weeks because we didn't think there was a chance of these being mistaken for a rooster. Hopefully it all worked itself out but I guess we'll know for sure in a couple of weeks.

    Ordered splash maran from hatchery but colors seem wrong?

    I just got a couple of olive eggers and I was told they are crossed with blue splash marans. They look alot like your chick with the feathers on their legs. Mine have that as well, so my guess is that's your blue splash marans.
