Anyone have experience with Urban Chicken Coop Company?

Hi Kirschj, Sweet PDZ is a horse stall refresher, made of Zeolites, and helps with ammonia absorption. I saw people talking about it on this website. More info can be found online, SweetPDZ.com I agree with another poster that cleaning and accessing the run part of this coop is challenging...

Anyone have experience with Urban Chicken Coop Company?

I have this coop, and it is nice! Really well made, fast shipping, good instructions for put together. I had it on my deck, and put a tarp under it. I lined the upper coop floor with vinyl, and put PDZ in it so I can easily scoop the poop out with a cat litter scooper. Overall, a great small...

My new bear resistant coop and aviary!

Whoa, that's some story! Where do you live? I am in central CO, just West of the divide. Since I just got my first chickens, I have yet to experience any predators, but we have lots around. I am going to put a baby monitor up in the coop soon. I admire your tenacity!

    Please, somebody help?

Thanks for your input, Elliechooks! Yeah, I feel pretty sure now that the red chickens are NOT Orpingtons, and certainly not buff :). They are slimmer than the Rocks, and are the same age. I sure am learning more all the time by searching everywhere to figure out what I have, though, and...

My new coop - yes, it's on my deck :)

This is my first chicken coop, and as I cannot build anything, I found it online and assembled it with some help. So far, the chickens love it! In the future, I will have another coop with a bigger run down in the backyard, and this one will be for rehab, or raising up chicks. For now it's...

    Please, somebody help?

Hi all of you experienced chicken keepers, can you help a newbie out? All 6 of the chickens are approximately 4 months old. I think the black and white ones are Barred Rocks, and I think they are pullets, but the other 4 are a mystery. We were told the 2 reddish ones were Buff Orpingtons...

Hi there, I am a new chicken owner from Western Colorado. I just got my first coop, and the teenage chickens moved in Friday evening. I have 6 chickens, and I think 2 are Barred Rocks, but not sure what the other 4 are. I will be posting pics on the what breed/sex forum later. I have...
