    No eggs yet. They're on purina organic starter-finisher. 18% protein. I've only been giving them peas and hardboiled eggs as treats about once a week. They get LOTS of greens they are free ranged out here in the country. I haven't had any sickness (knock on wood).

    I've noticed my chickens combs looking like they have dry skin. They are alert and their usual perky selves. They are only 4.5 months old and I thought maybe they are look the way they do because they're combs are still growing. Any help would be lovely thank you.

    Thanks for your response! Is it only male geese that become aggressive during mating season or females as well? Also, would waterfowl starter feed suffice for the goslings?
