    "Honking" chicken.. hen or Roo? 🤔

    Almost 16 weeks old. Was bound and determined it was a pullet but it's been honking after the rooster crows and I think it's growing some skinny feathers near its tail.. sooo safe to assume it's a Cockerel?

    Beautiful birds! Does both your male and female shine iridescent all over in the sun? My bird has a purple/greenish colour in the sun. I'll keep an eye out for saddle feathers as if right now the bird does really have much of a tail at all compared to my other but I'll watch for development...

    I decided to just get the older bird and not the 5 week olds. I already have 3 roosters and need to rehome 1 or 2 of them so I don't want to run the risk of them being male.

    Hmmm yeah she told me she had one that was 5 weeks old (can she sex the bird at this age?)’ and one approx 2 months old and sent me these pictures. How old do you think it is?! She wants $15 for it.
