I grew up in a Puerto Rican family. I assure you I know all about Rooster fighting and how brutal it can be. These are 3.5 month old birds.....its unusual for that one bird to even be light years ahead of the others in maturity. They were all purchased and have been raised together. This 1 birds...
I do! They provide me lots of entertainment and peace. I hsve PTSD also and they seem to help with that as well. I spend most of my days outside with them and I love it.
I use TSC for the majority of my feed....but I also order Barley and Modesto Milling feed from other suppliers. I give my flock all whole grain feeds and a pellet for hens...they eat well and have variety. I spend alot...but it keeps them healthy and looking good. Im fairly new to raising...

I will say...so far...hes very friendly and hope he stays that way. He fusses a bit when hes first held, but settles down nicely and actually comes up to me often and tugs at my glove.
I have one cockrel so far who is crowing and dominant. He started maturing VERY EARLY....EXTREMELY EARLY...he is head and shoulders ahead of my others and he crows on a whim....could be 4 AM....6 Am...9 Am...noon...2pm...6pm...hes also starting to really develop that true rooster voice...and hes...
