Brood 4 can go out into coop playpen in four weeks. Brood 5 will take their place in the Ladie Lair (my sewing/brooding room). Then, when time comes we can cull 5-10 birds which will make enough room for everybody. And, by then I should know which of my breeds are roos. I only want to keep enough to keep down confusion (for them). Oh, I definitely want to keep a Brahma rooster and the Bielefelder rooster.

Okie Auntie, since you are a self proclaimed enabler I can tell you with NO judgment. I was minding my own business and decided to check email. Well, there was one from Meyer. I asked to be on notification for when they would have Bielefelders.

I just ordered four (1 cockarel and 3 pullets) to hatch 10/31. Arrive 11/1-3. The plan . . .
