They are!! I has one that was selective about which ones she wanted around so I took her out of the pen, but the other two are being great mom's so far :wee
Just wanted to share this picture with everyone. I was watching one of the eggs that looked like it would hatch in the near future and one of its incubator siblings came over and decided to take a quick nap on it. :DLooked like it was letting the other one know it had friends on the outside...
Hatching has begun! I got to see 2 baby silkies under the broody silkies before I left for work and then made the boyfriend check on the incubator eggs that had just been rocking when I left and one had now zipped and inch!
Ok I have my final count that will be set for hatching!
24 silkie eggs of varying colors including bbs, paint, and calico!

Hmmmm that's a good idea! I live in a small town and have had 4 different people over the last 6 months ask me if I was selling any of my chickens....i looked at the like they were crazy:lau. Would have been a perfect time for extras!
Thank you so much for the great response! I kind of wish I had too high of humidity, but I supoose that is not good too. Really interesting about the dry hatch attempt. I can definitely underatand helping them out when they are shrink wrapping. The only one from my first attempt that survived...
