That was my guess too but I'm still new to this so the only reference I'm going by is pictures from hatchery catalogs

Cool thanks everyone! I have another I'm curious about also I will get some pics up tonight.Its also a banty that's a greyish color with a puff on top of its head.The wings are coming in white with black dots on them.

Feel free to copy whatever I do although I gotta warn ya this is my first experience with chickens.

I've already found a few things I'd do differently.I wish I had scrounged enough wood to make it a walk in coop but we have lots of gophers so I thought elevating it would help.

I'm using eco earth coconut fiber but I'm about to get some aspen shavings.I have one that is constipated and I think the coconut fiber is the reason.Not sure if grit would help out or not.

My run will be Six feet tall with chicken wire on top.We live in a big open field so the hawks are everywhere here.The gophers are plentiful I figure that's why we have so many hawks.So I decided to fix that issue before it starts.
