I'm not sure if it is because they are bored, or because it is mating season or what exactly.. But our muscovies are Not being nice to each other lately!
We have 5 adults, we've had them since August/September of last year. This is our first mating/hatching season and we are learning as we go...
I also wanted to mention, I live just outside of a city, and our ducks were still attacked by a hawk and killed/injured badly.
None of them were carried away (I imagine they were too heavy)..
It was the worst day I've had in recent memory, by far, to wake up @5am to my husband screaming and...

Last year we were soooooo excited when we brought our first 4 Ducks home! It was in August..

We're pretty sure he is allergic. I think we will wait a week or so, then try again.. and if he has the same symptoms we will know for certain.. I will talk to him about the skin test too.
