    That’s unfortunate. It is common. The vaccine isn’t a good one as they can still carry and transmit. Best wishes.

    They don’t really want to be handled, scatter, freak out. Even though I handle them daily since hatch. The roosters are always aggressive with the hens.

    I’ll end up doing both, and also strength this mix. Unfortunately Sebrights have a terrible temperament and these have that trait for the most part.

    No wattles by now. Usually they start coming in at week 3-4 definitely a hen.

    The leg color doesn’t designate egg color. Ear color does.

    Hello all, New here, long time bantam chicken owner from Northern California. Just joined today and following the recommendation to introduce myself. Hope I put this in the right spot. I free range the majority of my birds, that flock can vary between 20-24 birds. I also breed Silver Sebrights...
