Transporting week old chicks and broody

I live in the UK and having students around your house is unheard of! It’s a shame but their welfare is more important. I had thought of putting some fertile eggs under a broody school bird but it could be challenging conversations if we ended up with several cockerels!

Thank you. They won't be going anywhere then. My primary concern is their welfare not the students enjoyment :) Harry

Any idea on this lovely lady?

The pictures don't really show just how much green iridescence she has! I know my cockerel is a hybrid of a few breeds, but she seems to be less varied..... " border="0" alt=" photo 223EEA96-C4AD-4825-8F73-A8B90506354F.jpg"/></a>

New user - can anyone help?

This boy just gets more beautiful by the day Silly question, but now he is mature he has taken a liking to one of my bantams. He is a big guy and our sablepoot is tiny. Is it even possible that she would produce fertile eggs given the size difference?

When they were chick they both had black eyes and legs, the other they get the paler their legs get and now their eyes are orange. These pics are a few weeks old now, the cockerel is now very...

Hi all, Long time 'lurker' first time poster here. A while back we bought some day old chicks as a fox took out our old hens. They were black in colour with grey legs and grey eyes and we were told their breed at the time, but it was a breed we haven't ever heard of and subsequently forgot...
