Definitely. I made an appointment for Monday.
Really curious to see if anyone has seen anything similar to this.
A couple years ago I posted about a runner duck who had a massive growth on the bottom of her foot that looks very similar. The vet did not know what it was, and it wasn't...
This came up about a week ago. It grows bigger everyday.
This is the same duck I posted about a few months ago with the webbing issue. He's currently doing fine other than this growth that just popped up.
Any ideas on what this could be?

Sadly, he wasn't very much help. He didn't think it was infected. Said his hocks might be a little swollen from resting on them. He felt for sure it was an injury. He described it as being similar to a brush burn in humans, like he was dragged across something. He said the little thread of...
I found a vet that will see him at 2pm today. He is not an avian vet but he is trusted and has seen all of my animals pretty much my whole life. He did say that we could treat for infection if there were any.
I will be sure to ask about bacterial/fungal infection or autoimmune. I will update as...
Thank you so much. I'm worried about putting the shoe on his little foot. The skin just kind of breaks/falls off more each day. It's almost brittle, for lack of a better word.
Any advice the others could contribute will be much appreciated.
The skin seems dry. Not wet like an open wound.
Where the sloughing ends, going up his hock, there is a small area that looks a little raw. He doesn't seem to pay much attention to it aside from biting at the shedding skin.
Will his webbing grow back? His other foot is a little flaky too but...
@Miss Lydia
This is his progression. There is no skin between his toes and the outside toe is curling over. He's still on the poultry cell. What to do?
Thanks for your response.
Although he does try to put weight on it, he is not able to stand flat. I had cut most of the excess of the flap of skin that was dangling from the foot when I first discovered it. The bit that was left seems to have bunched up, forming a rounded wad near the toes.
