    This came up about a week ago. It grows bigger everyday. This is the same duck I posted about a few months ago with the webbing issue. He's currently doing fine other than this growth that just popped up. Any ideas on what this could be?

    Thank you so much. I'm worried about putting the shoe on his little foot. The skin just kind of breaks/falls off more each day. It's almost brittle, for lack of a better word. Any advice the others could contribute will be much appreciated.

    The skin seems dry. Not wet like an open wound. Where the sloughing ends, going up his hock, there is a small area that looks a little raw. He doesn't seem to pay much attention to it aside from biting at the shedding skin. Will his webbing grow back? His other foot is a little flaky too but...

    Thanks for your response. Although he does try to put weight on it, he is not able to stand flat. I had cut most of the excess of the flap of skin that was dangling from the foot when I first discovered it. The bit that was left seems to have bunched up, forming a rounded wad near the toes.

    @issac Ok gotcha. So I should start worrying about tube feeding if she has a 5 to 10% decrease in her current weight? Or the weight that I believe she was at before this started? She is eating some food.
