    Thank you everyone for your replies. I am reassured this is a pullet. I am very happy, she's my only BCM that made it from that hatch. As she is not a breeding bird, simply bought for colorful eggs, I am not having a problem with her overly black appearance. :)

    Orpington or Mixed Breed?

    Out of the breeds that she raises, what would be the mix? The only thing I could think of is Orpington x Campine but she's really thick bodied unlike a Campine so I don't know if that's accurate. She raises Campines, Orpingtons, CCLs, Cochins, Seramas, EEs, Speckled Sussex and Silkies.
