first chick questions
most lamps have a clamp where you can clip it some way and angle it, it may not be able to hang straight up and down but even an angle would help.- bgsuohio

Red Tailed Hawks
I don't like hawks. Last summer I was cutting grass and looked over to see the hawk on top of the silkie chicken with feathers all over the yard. I was able to get there in time to save the chicken. What kind of chicks do I have?
I've noticed different sizing of birds also and found that it never had anything to do with the sex. Some seem to just be bigger then others. I have a mallard duckling right now that I have named "fat boy" because he is 2 times the size of the others and only 6 days old.....I haven't even...- bgsuohio

All Chickens bullying same hen - Suggestions?
Interesting. I am going to follow this thread to see how it turns out. I could see putting 1 or 2 bullies in timeout but I never thought of if the entire flock bullied just one. Good Luck.- bgsuohio
