    What type of breed is this?

    I went to a local petting farm and they had a very friendly and pretty feather footed (I think bantam) pullet. Any ideas what breed she might be? (She had almost no comb - what was there was a single comb).

    Well darn it...I (or should I say my husband) was partly hoping this would somehow be a reason for limiting the size of my flock. It seems the more time I take to think about what hens to select, the more I find I like. I think my original plans for a small coop will have to be revised.

    PS: Our deck sits 10ft off the ground...just wanted to clarify that there would be plenty of air circulation for them.
