    Poor Chick

We have already witnessed a miracle that this chick survived its first day ( to be honest the first day was a teeter-totter between are we letting this creature suffer and should we end it now ) . Thank you for your words. He or she has a drive to survive. We can only pray for it.

    Poor Chick

I don't want to be morbid here, but should we hope that the extra legs decay or should we hope that they stay healthy ?

    Poor Chick

He or she is eating and drinking. The main concern we have is about the split vent. Can a chicken survive this way ?

    Poor Chick

We incubated chickens for the first time this year. We had thirteen successful hatchings and then we had a chick that was apparently the result of a double yolk egg ( we had candled it and could not detect it was ). We were devastated. We don't know what to do. Please help ! He or she has an...

We are new and do not know much ! Where is the best place to view and or post pictures of your flock. I have looked thru the Gallery but is there a way to sort by username ? I would like, if I am conversing with someone, to see all the pictures they have posted of their birds.

Hello, we are new to chciken raising and we are loving it ! We want to increase our flock by 4 to 6 birds. We have two Leghorns (one is a rooster) and four Red Sex Links. We would like to get about 4 Black Australorp juveniles. Does anyone have any for sale ?

Thank you. It seems that everyone likes the Black Australorps. Does anyone have juveniles for sale in the Eaton Ohio area ? We have seen them in catalogs but they always have a minimum of 15 birds. We are only looking to increase our flock by 4 to 6 birds at a time.

Bow is in our profile picture. He is an amazingly beautiful bird and really helps keep the hens safe.
