i do have the feeder and waterer. yes they walk better on something they can grip with their feet. i now have a porous paper down they can walk on and they are all eating and drinking on thier own god bless mother nature. thank you all
these hatched Friday morning. I had a total of 5 eggs in the incubator. 4 hatched 1 didn't make it. one of these chicks cant stand and her/his head bobs alot not sure if that one will make it. but im gonna try to keep it alive as long as i can. also i have a question
on when do they start eating...
is it ok to have chickens in my zone? I currently live in south florida and was wondering if my zoning would alow my to have chickens. thanx in advanced.
No I havent got any eggs yet the easter egger is about 3 months old. got some time before eggs come from them. i have pics of my other bantams male and female. here is a pic of them together. BTW this pic is on here in a different post thanx for looking :)
not sure the breed of this bantam. but she sure is cute and the nicest hen of the flock.she is just over 6 mths old still no eggs.any info is welcomed thank you.
here is "Popcorn" she is a bantam about 6 months old dont know what type she is but we love her.
this is the roo and the hen same breed im guessing she is about to lay some eggs soon too!

these are a few pics of my chickens. there is 4 barred plymouth. 1 popcorn bantam chicken (not shown) she is in the coop. 2 silver laced porcilian, 1 roo and 1 hen. 4 americana chicks and 2 rhode island reds. they are all hens except for the porcilian roo.
that is the coop i have for them. it has a door that i close at night time. its wide enough that they r not close to any openings in the wire. you could call it there safe haven. with a light on top. dont really have to many problems with racoons here but they are around. i have a full privacy...
