Hello :)
As for the eggs you found in the shrub, I would float test them. This can be done by filling a glass or container with enough water to cover the egg. If it floats, it is bad, sinks it is good. I would keep an eye out for other garden nests too. We leave our hens in their coop and run...
Doesn't sound like malting to me, as they usually start around their neck. I would just go with the vet RX at the moment, and hopefully it will improve soon :)
I am so sorry :( to breed peacocks has been a dream of mine and where we live we have them wander into our yard. They roost around the beach and we often find their feathers in our yard. Such beautiful birds. You did all you could and that is wonderful.
Chickens get outa that! Quickly and you can get some spinach!
Look at them, they have a perfectly good coop that is warm and they are sleeping on the deck!
Pepper ( my dog ) stop eating the chook poop!
Hello :)
I don't exactly know how long an egg lasts, but I think a while if it is kept in the fridge. I would check my eggs are ok by filling up a container or glass with water, it has to be at least full enough to be twice the height of the egg. Place the egg in and see if it floats or sinks...
