    Handsome Mint Cream Legbar roosters

This is where I got them from, they lay a dirty green egg that is blue on the inside of the shell. http://www.chickenscratchpoultry.com/mint_cream_bar__green_egg_layer

    Handsome Mint Cream Legbar roosters

We have some exatra roosters, they are very pretty Mint Cream Legbars and French Black Copper Marans. Both are good natured .They're about 5 months old I'd like $20.00 for them but will consider offers.

    Idaho anyone?

He's a beautiful rooster, I'd love to have him. He reminds me of my Black Austalourp I had a few years ago, he would eat out of my hand. I live near Pocatello though, longs ways away. If you don't find him a home and we can figure out how to get him here I'll take him.

    Scratch grains and layer mix

Does anyone know whether the scratch grains and layer mix you can buy at CalRanch or any farm store is from organic sources? I have someone wanting organic eggs but I'm unsure of the scratch and layer mix. How could I tell if it's organic?

How do you tell the Light Brahma rooster from the hens?

If it crowing it's surely a rooster, they aren't easy to tell apart until they're a little older, just by appearances.

How do you tell the Light Brahma rooster from the hens?

If you look at the pictures I posted earlier and what the Flock master pointed out on those pictures that may help you.

How do you tell the Light Brahma rooster from the hens?

Looks like a pretty little hen to me. When they are older you can tell for sure.

How do you tell the Light Brahma rooster from the hens?

Looks good. The Brahma roosters we've had have never been mean, but if you have a lot they be hard on your hens. A full body picture will tell if they're hens or roosters. I wasn't sure at first either, I'll have to post some more pictures.

NEsting boxes that roll the eggs out

Does anyone have a design for nesting boxes that roll the eggs away from the hens? We have some egg eaters and are trying to out smart them. Any ideas would be appreciated.

How do you tell the Light Brahma rooster from the hens?

Thank you. The pictures I've seen of the Brahma roosters have more tail feathers, maybe our will grow some in as they get older.

How do you tell the Light Brahma rooster from the hens?

These Light Brahmas are about 5 months old, we have a hard time telling the roosters from the hens. Has anyone else had Brahmas that could tell me how to tell the difference? This one is certainly a rooster, I can tell that because of his size, but most look alike.

    New to the site

Hi, everyone I'm new here. This looks like a interesting fun site. I have a mix of different breeds of chickens, a great husband and fun daughter, two dogs, eight cats on 12 acres Surrounded by 500+ acres of BLM. Does anyone know where I could buy some adult Easter egg hens, it's pretty cold...
