    That's excellent. It really helps with confidence when you see a little try. Good luck! Slow progress is solid progress. Best thing to remember is you will make a forward step one day, and two backwards steps the next but always know it will get better everyday.

    Aha! So that would be the answer to something I said in the OP. I was worried about it sharp claws on kids when out with friendly chickens. So I had nothing to worry about :) That's actually a good thing. Bubble bursted!

    I might have some detached air cells in shipped serama eggs I already set. I set them about 5 days ago and candled today to find some moving air cells in there. Is it too late to set them big end up? 8 of the 12 look really good with decent veining. The other four look blank or have that moving...

    I don't think it takes too long. You could always do a dozen or so at a time. Just pencil numbers or letters on your batches.
