Mine always have a dirty water by the time I am putting them to bed.

My ducks have fresh air but some of them are quite weak when it comes to keeping their body temperature up so I have to be really careful that they stay warm enough.
The house that they use to have in England was nice and warm in the winter but I haven’t had any time to winterise their house...

Yes it won’t keep the small things out. We have one rat that is getting in and stealing food but he/she is really fat and lazy so right now it is not a problem
