I bred a Brahma to an Lavender Americana. I was thinking it would give me light green eggs but I've gotten blue or brown eggs. So would this mean they are Easter eggers and why aren't they laying any green? I'm still learning at this chicken stuff
Hi, I'm not sure if this is where I should post this but does anyone know if I'd bred my light brahma rooster to an ameraucana would the offspring lay greencolored eggs?
I got them from Tractor Supply as St.Runs. I was hoping at least one of them was a girl. Oh well..such is luck lol

Here are some of my Easter Eggers, they will be 3 weeks old on Tuesday. So some of the pics are in different stages. I need to update them. I too am very curios and excited to see what mine will look like as adults. I do have one that I think will remain pure white.
I thought I'd share some pics of my Cochins. These girls have stolen my heart. One is Red and one is Blue. Both are almost two weeks old. Though the Red one is extremely friendly as you can see her with my dog. My dog is a gentle giant.
