    I'm in up in Omak. I noticed that you were thinking of getting ducks. I just got back from a conference in Portland and found that a weasel (most likely) got 2 of my runner ducks... I have one black hen left who might need a new home...

    I have 16 hens and get about 6-8 eggs/day now...up from 4-5/day a couple weeks ago. I don't run any artificial lights, so that they can have a break in the winter. ...ready for spring.

    Just finding this thread... Hi everyone, I'm in Omak as well. What time in the spring do people in the Okanogan/E. WA start hatching? I did mine a little too early last year, ended up with a 100% hatch rate, and was stuck with 40 peepers in my house for a month -- they were driving me nuts...
