I would say pullet if it’s 11 weeks old then. I would expect way more of a comb at that age. But mine is nearly a guess since I am new to this.- Bpinnon

Mine are almost nine weeks old. One is pullet and one cockerel. It’s becomes pretty Easy to tell around 7-9 weeks- Bpinnon

7 week progress of Silkie
I wasn’t sure what he/she would look like but I feel like she is gonna be beautiful! Local store Silkie buy so I’m sure she is a mix but loving her and she is a talker. Her name is Chirpy- Bpinnon

Neighbors Rooster, curious of breed
Just hatched a baby from this rooster. Egg was a large white egg. Chick came out yellow with a few black feather spots. Curious to see how it grows.- Bpinnon

I have three barred rocks two I thought from the get go were boys but the 3rd had me curious. They all had some white on their heads at birth but one was not as distinct.
