Mine are also the most friendly of our chicks! We also have 1 SLW that is SO friendly! Our Rhode Island Reds are keeping to themselves haha

This is awesome. We have 12 Buff Orps coming to us in Mid-May. First-time raising chickens ourselves and very excited. We ordered our's from Myers and can't wait to get our little backyard farm started!

I raised Buff girls for years. They were the sweetest girls ever, and I had 3 that always hung together. They were my very favorites out of all my girls.... Enjoy them they will lay you some huge eggs.

Anyone know do they get pinkish combs early. Starting to worry that None of them are going to be girls! I can post some photos of them if you would like to help me make a guess !

They say the females get feathering earlier than the males. Not sure about the combs.

One of those is definitely a cockerel. Not sure on the others.

Just took these 3s photos. I know the one is cockerel because his is much bigger and red so I had a good feeling on him being a him lol
