    Literal button quail

Not sure if anyone is still on this thread, but i have the same issue with my female quail! She is 6 weeks old, and i know for a fact she is 6 weeks because i hatched her myself. but she is still the size of a 3 week old quail. She has full feathers, and is healthy in all aspects apart from...

    Dwarf Adult Quail?

I have a 6 week old Button Quail, female. She is the size of a 3 week old chick! I know she is 6 weeks old, as i hatched her myself. She hasn't grown since she was 3 weeks old, although she does have all her feathers. She does get tired very easily, and breathes a little heavy. But other...

My first time ever incubating Quail eggs.

Thanks. I doubt he will be back, most likely living in the huge woodland my parents have there. I hope he's safe and doing well though. Still miss him :( And yeah, almost got everything we need to get the large aviary started. So we should be building it in a couple of weeks. I'm looking...

Well, bad news about M.A :( He escaped the aviary and hasn't been seen since :( My parents have had enough of the little aviary and how easy it is for birds to escape every time we go in and clean it, so they've decided to start building a large aviary at the far end of the garden. This time...

Yeah, tropical fish tanks are expensive. I actually used to have one. And i had a marine tank too. It was set up in the corner of the living room and looked stunning. But the high maintenance corals and such were just too much for me, so i closed the tank down after a couple of years. Shame...

Yeah, i like having a larger bird as a pet, but i want to make sure she has the giant cage with room to fly and come out whenever she wants to. I don't like seeing large birds in a tiny cage and never getting time outside the cage to fly and interact. She was bought into the garden centre i...

Yeah, i'm not sure if it's Quails, or Quail, like you said. I did wonder that when i first started researching them. Curly is beautiful :) I'll have to get a picture of her later too haha! But today she let me in the cage and fed from my hand without trying to kill me :P So we are becoming...

haha, don't worry, with so many online posts and forums, it's hard to keep track sometimes, so don't worry :) The little ones have been moved into a bigger cage now. Very nervous as there's more room to explore, so they move in a herd like fashion haha! But all nice and cosy :) Even starting...

Yeah i guess doing a painting with tones would make sense? I'm not really an artist, well not in the drawing and painting sense anyway, i'm a designer/artist of a different type lol. But yeah, i guess i can see that. And yeah he/she is tiny! I gave it Olive Oil as it was constipated, and had...

Oh, i thought i had something to do with makeup lol. Never wear the stuff personally, but i suppose it's handy if you are into that sort of thing? I wonder if there's any medical significance with that sort of thing too? Hmm, something to research later when i get bored :P Yeah, it was really...

Yeah, i was reading some news article a while ago and it says to look at the colour of your veins in your wrist to determine your "tones"..apparently mine is blue. Not sure what that means exactly, never been into fashion, and all the girly type of things lol. And yes, the one thing missing...

lol, how odd eh? Well at least your skin colour became normal after spending time by the window! I'm the opposite, i'm a natural goth lmao! I'm that pale you would think there was something wrong with me lol I never tan, just burn then instantly return to ice But yeah, these guys are...

LOL!! Well hello Olive! I'm Sue Haha, what a way to get a name eh? How were you olive coloured at birth? Or are you olive skinned naturally? But haha, that made it easy for your parents to choose a name for you :) And yes, i currently have a brooder in front of me here in the living room...
