HI Mitch
Interesting post you have written, its seems to me you are trying to achieve what most breeders are striving towards? breeding beautiful but useful birds. But If the SOP isn't followed you may as well breed hybrids with the points you are looking for? the standard is there so every...
HI
A picture of my cockerel at 11 months, he as been indoors since last June hence the loss of colour in his legs and beak but this will be back in a month. He is very bloody, fighting with another cockerel yesterday he flew over the fence somehow? He lost quite a few flight feathers in the...

Cheers Britrock
Hi Jeff
I have one, he is a different line in my strain, not used him yet but he hatched the same day as the light in the other picture.
Comb needs improvement plus his shape needs some work but otherwise quite a nice boy.
Hi
This is my boy heading this months breeding pens, he was hatched on 7th May last year.
He is treading the pullets well his first batch are all fertile in the incubator now.
Your Rocks are very different to UK Rocks here they mature reasonably quickly, I do like the second one.
Hi
If you can get a copy? 'Creative Poultry Breeding' Dr. Clive Carefoot

This is the same with the blues except the white...

Hi Egghead-Jr
I haven't hatched any yet and if I'm honest I don't know much about them. Tom gave them to me because he's making room for more Barred.
The black pullet he gave me is from his barred stock which I have with a barred male. The splash cockerel will give me all Blues I think? I will...
Hi a couple of pictures of Blues
LF and an bantam cockerels, both winners and both were owned by Tom Newbould. He no longer breeds Blues concentrates on Barreds I have his Blue bantams, Splash Cock, blue and a black pullet. I think all Rocks legs are naturally a slate blue colour and it's the...
