    These javas were born the first week of june and still not one egg! My layers will soon be broasters if this keeps up! I feed them regularly, they always have water, the temperature has been fine. Isn't it time?

    hello all, First time chicken keeper here. I have 12 Javas, 3 leghorns. Mostly white but with 2 black, 2 auburn. They are about 4 months right now. With winter on the way I just hope I can keep them warm and safe! How do they do in the cold? How warm do i need to keep the coop?

    So I have 15 4 month old Javas that have only know Illinois summer. They always sleep outside in one big huddled pile of feathers. They refuse to go in the coop, which is heated. I use the coop as a go through to the main yard I let them in to when I'm home, so I know they know how to get in...
