I had two polish roos over the winter, one did fine, he was the dominant one, and was able to roost between hens. The other one was left to roost solo and ended up with frostbite on his feet. My neighbor has a polish hen, she does fine, but is in a coop with other cold hardy breeds.

I was givin these two about a month ago when they were found alone near a river. They are definitely domestic, any ideas on what breed they are? Hens or drakes?

These two were found dumped near a waterway to fend for themselves. I think the darker one is a Swedish but any guesses on the lighter one on the left is? It is really red in color.
