My girls are laying up a storm and the incubator is full. I am offering up for sale 1 dozen Khaki Campbell hatching eggs. These ducks are very prolific layers, laying 300-325 eggs per year. These are not hatchery birds. I acquired my original sets of eggs from 2 different breeders so I would...
KHAKI CAMPBELL HATCHING EGGS - $25
12+ hatching eggs. These ducks are prolific layers, laying 300-325 eggs per year. Pictured are some of the parent birds. My birds are not hatchery stock. I originally purchased eggs from 2 separate breeders for diversity in my flock. Please PM me if interested.
What are you asking for them? Please PM me with info. I lost my Cemani Rooster a few weeks back and my hen just started laying this week. I will take both though as I have a friend who has the SvartHona's.
I would call the hatchery and ask them to either replace them or refund your money. They should have known better than to ship them like that. I will have Khaki Campbell ducklings in January or February.
They are a bit aloof towards people. I hatched all of my ducks myself and handled them a lot as ducklings. Today they will allow me to get close to them or if I am sitting they will come up to me and eat out of my hand but they run if you try to pick them up. I got them from Celtic Oak Farm on...
I have to say yes. I live on 10 acres and have only pulled off 2 or 3 ticks from all 5 of my dogs. I am surprised that the Guineas are not doing their job. When we had Guineas I never saw any ticks on the dogs or cats and they even took care of the neighbor's property. Mine free ranged the...
I have had Khaki Campbell ducks for a few years now and love them. They lay 300+ eggs a year and are GREAT bug control. When my chickens stop laying due to molting or the summer heat I can always count on the Khaki hens to give me a few eggs. The eggs are richer in taste and are excellent for...
I have a Crested Cream Legbar Trio for sale. The chicks are 5 weeks old. You will be getting a Rees line cockerel and two 2nd/3rd import pullets. This is an auto sexing breed that will lay beautiful blue eggs. Asking $35. Located in Brooksville but willing to meet up within a reasonable distance.
Khaki's don't really fly. When they do it is low to the ground and for short distances. I would definitely put a top on the run. You want to keep your birds protected from predators. The khaki's may not be able to get out but lots of different animals could get in.[/IMG]
