ok thank you because i was saying to myself this is no way a barred rock because he is much smaller then the two br's that are brooding with him/her and they are all the same age give or take a few hours i just needed a another person to tell me im not going crazy

i am unsure if my little 2 week old chick is a barred rock or sex link or either lol he has black feet and a black beak unlike my br

no only thier wing feathers are coming in i dnt see any tail feathers yet

does the size of the wings determine the gender because i have 2 barred rocks a week old and one has longer wings then the other

i have a question my little ones are less then a week old and i bought the chick starter for them until they are two months old my question is can i start them on layer after starter or do i need something else if i just want reg eggs to eat not to breed?
