    please help! one of my chicks is being picked on and is bleeding

    i tried to added 12 new pullets 9 weeks old to my flock of 20, of19 week olds ready to lay pullets,not a good idea, i had to build a seperate pen for my new girls they had one bloody and hurting for sure,i put them in the new pen and 2 days later good to go. she has healed up. used neo and love...

    garden trimmings

    my flock seems to enjoy weeds and trimmings out of the garden and the house as much or more than there normal layer mix. not sure if they are drinking as much as i thought about 4-5 gallons every other day. new stuff everyday with the flock . wish i had done this ears ago.

    just completed my nest boxes,should they be painted first before installin and if so what color? i am new at raising chickens ? have 21 layers that are 16 weeks old . i built 10 boxes.plan on maybe a few more hens later on. thanks

    new chickens in the flock

    i had a friend call about a few 2-3 day old chicks to add to my flock of 5 week old layers can i add them or will i have trouble
