Yes that's how I did my ducks.. But it was a much smaller batch at one time so they all came out at once.. I have some babies that they keep laying on their bellies with their legs out to the sides... Something wrong with them?
Thanks! Some of the have been hatched and in there for 24 hours now... And some are just now hatching! I knew they would be ok for one day but didn't know how long they could or should stay in there past the 24 hours! Never had so many eggs in one box at one time... New to quail. I'm good with...
My hatch is going well, they started hatching yesterday morning and are still hatching! When do I pull the dry chicks out of the incubator? Should I wait until everyone hatches before opening it?
Ok so... Here I am, I have 41 duck eggs that are on day 17. I candled all of them for movement, veins etc. first candling I've done of this group since placement. I threw out 8 clears. I want to post some pictures of the eggs in a bit so I can ask you experts how they are looking at this point...
Ok. Does anyone know if quail eggs require the same humidity as everyone else? I had one hatch out of 14. Only one other pipped internally. Humidity was at 60%
I ended up hatching out 19 out of 40. Two of them have curled feet. :-/ I will post some pictures soon. Got a lot going on with the kids and school this week
