In my opinion the best way to butcher a bird is to cut its head off with an axe or meat cleaver, IMO its the quickest and least stressful ANY gas is going to cause discomfort and disorientation to the bird. if you think it would be nervous about a kill cone, why not a gas chamber?

I went to my uncles duck farm the other day, he is a professional call duck breeder. But i dont know if he gives them enough space. So im asking you how much space do call ducks need in the coop and in the run? his pretty much just had a nest box 1x2 and about 5x1.5-2 feet of run.
I heard that you cant use chicken wire with chickens because they can bite through it? is this the same way with ducks? or another reason it cant be used? i found it with the one inch hexagon openings.
