Okay so I got a Cornish cross roo for fair. I didn't think he would grow that fast.
And now he is a MASSIVE big boy, Atleast 3 inch thick feet, Fat rooster. I think 15 pounds or more! It's hard to pick him up!
He eats and drinks fine.

I had 18 chickens given to a person who said she would take care of them.
I went to get them today as they were standing on their own feces and stunted.
All washed up and cleaned off, and most have these big black scabs on their feet. They can walk but it looks painfull. Is it bumblefoot?

I went to local feed store and they had a mix of different bantams in the bin. got two feather legged ones. thinking one might be a sultan and the other a buff or a frizzle?

So i was at the polar bear plunge in kennewick , and we were offered a big bag of apple peels ! So we got a big 20 pound bag, and today i put it in the coop with the girls. ( they ate into them right away - even tho slightly frozen )
