So i have a netherland dwarf who is for sure pregnant, i can feel about three bodies.
Anyways ! She seems calm and collected, she has made a nest., and today hasnt. Been eating or drinking at all. Last night and today, she has been spotting blood ( i checked herr tray. ) and. Shes. Been having ALOT of conractions. They go off and on, and. Are those normal ?

And my other pregnant rabbit is due but shows no. sighn. Of. Making a nest soon.

Please respond!:)

Hey there I'm not sure if your does have kindled since this post.

But lets see each doe is different
I have had some start building a nest as early as a week prior & as late as minutes before kindling.

How's the first doe doing? - was she able to kindle all the kits? Alive.... stillborn??
what breed of rabbit did you breed her with? What about the other doe.

sorry to be spitting out questions left & right -

The Q about if her symptoms were normal - yes, normally they will stop eating & drinking the day of. Usually if you are seeing her contractions... their stance more upright to help push down---- also a normal thing. Then it becomes a question of time.

Hope things went well, please share & if there are any other Qs i'll try n answer as best as possible.

That all sounds pretty normal, Those kits should be showing up anytime between here and tomorrow. One minute you will go out there : No kits , Next minute : OMG there are six of them

And I'm not even joking.

Just make sure she has all the hay and water she needs and as long as she has them in the nest everything should go smooth as smoothies.

If she doesn't have them tonight make sure you wake up extra early and check, it can make the difference between life and death for a kit born on the wire.

oh yes! sorry! she is fine. sad thing is, she only had two kits- one was HUGE and the other was smaller and both were dead. she is fine and happy, no more moodyness but is still sensitive around her belly. my other bunny whom was 'supposably' pregnant never kindled, but she didnt seem pregnant anyways. :( . i might breed them again after fair.
