Sometimes when chickens are depressed they go into self-mutalation where they pull out their feathers. If this chick is acting less and less social it may be time for some more outdoor time. Or it’s just molting, which is probably the case considering it’s not a large area and their age isn’t...
I agree that it’s hard to tell what’s wrong with her.
It might be nothing big though, like a ton of people said, she could just be fat.
Though, she really might have a terrible diese or something (that I 99.9 precent doubt) My chickens don’t have that, maybe it’s just she laid an egg the wrong...

I don’t know what else to give her but quick thinking! Dogs almost always kill for sport and won’t stop (like us humans) until they have finished the job. You are extremely lucky that chicken was able to survive without more damage! She could’ve have an very deep wound.
I voted for man. Why? I did that because we kill chickens daily for their good taste. (No offense) Yet all the other
animals usually hunt to eat, not good taste.
