Hello This stray chicken made its way into our neighborhood and we’ve adopted it as no owner claimed it. I’m thinking it’s a game fowl pullet, but wanted another opinion. No eggs or crowing and it does look on the younger side.

Here is an updated pic. The white one got more brown as it matured. Still beautiful coloring but looks different from when it began getting its plumage.

Thankfully both chickens ended up being pullets. The buff has a grayish egg and the cream one has a greenish egg.

Updated pictures at 8 weeks as of today. I think they still both look like pullets as most have commented but have noticed some red leakage on the lighter ones wings. Can you have pullets with that kind of red leakage?

Hello, The 2 chicks I hatched a couple months ago, I believe were the same cross of buff orpington/easter egger. I'm wondering if you still have these chickens and pictures of what they look like as adults?

I’ve asked the neighbor who sold me the eggs about what breeds of chickens she has. She told me that she’ll ask her husband and get back to me. The buff one for sure is more difficult to identify gender.

Thinking the buff one may be Orpington with Easter-egger since it has a pea comb and green legs? Not too sure about the breed(s) of the lighter one.
