It’s part of it all, sometimes you can do everything right and still lose some chicks. If I had to guess, it might have been her heart. But the ones that do make it makes it all that much more special!
All 3 of my April chicks are now laying!! It’s so rewarding to see all that hard work of raising them pay off. This is what it’s all about.

She’s getting super close to laying, but not quite yet! Yeah ever since I got some bared rock chicks, I’m thinking she’s a cuckoo marans mix. She’s either going to lay olive or brown eggs, both are fine by me! It all tastes the same haha. Here’s a more recent photo of her.
It’s just I’m confused because I read 2 teaspoons is for more severe cases and 1 teaspoon is the refuse dose. I genuinely don’t know which one is the right one lol!!
