My girls stools look a little suspicious, and I do have some medicine leftover from treating my older flock, should I go ahead and proceed with treatment? Do the ones I treated last month need to be retreated too? I read they can develop antibodies but I’m not sure if it’s true. They do stay in separate coops though. The chicks seem to be acting fine, but it might be because I caught it early. Does anyone know dose I should give them?

I do have a picture, putting a warning now in case this isn’t anyone thing.

It looks like cecal poop, but if you are concerned, it won't hurt to treat your chicks for Coccidiosis.

Since your chicks are in separate coops, treat only the coop you are concerned about.

Chickens can build resistance to the Coccidia strains that are found in their environment but sometimes treat is necessary if there's an overload.

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Does the 2 teaspoon dose apply to 1 month old chicks? Seems like of strong. But if that’s what everyone else does I’ll do it.
