I am sorry, we just had one hatch that had a belly as big as the egg, and you could see through the belly. It died. I felt pretty crappy, this is the part that really sucks.
Thanks for the info! We have already had to wipe a little fuzzy butt, and still keeping an eye on it. They are eating and drinking, so I am happy about that.
Okay, so this is the first time we have incubated any eggs or let a hen sit on any. We have one Mottled Houdan under the hen and 2 more Houdans and 3 White Crested Polish in the incubator.
It is a homemade incubator and although I am confident I can do things I had never done this before...
My humidity has been 54% , we have it up to 67%, is that high enough? Also, there is condensation on the glass, is that a problem? Thanks for any input.
