I have his F1 cross of the New Hampshires....excellent layers, great fertility, docile birds, fast feathering and growing....they are not as uniform quite yet since he crossed 2 strains...german male over Good Shepherd females...F2's which is what you likely have may be more consistent in color...
HI...yes my hatch went well for the New Hamps...now we've bred from them. Jeremy is a great breeder and person to do biz with too. He's honest, reliable and has very good birds!!! Congrats in advance on your SPR's from him.

6 weeks is such a cute stage for Orp chicks....still lots of feathers coming in....this was my first hatch from Henrietta x Claude...incubated 4, hatched 3, and all K's I think No worries hatching each week from this single mating.
I have the German/GS NH cross birds....thus far they have been very good layers of large to ex large eggs...5/week on 10 month old pullets. they are such calm and easy going birds too.
Happy 2014 everyone!
I am looking for a genesis hovabator to use as a second hatcher. I am located in Scottsdale. If anyone in the local Scottsdale/Phoenix area has one available/for sale, please pm me the details.
Thanks!
Cindy
