I just bought some black sex link pullets from tractor supply that look just like that. I also bought 4 chicks that look like that and they couldn't tell me what they were because they weren't marked. I've pretty much decided they are all black sex links.

Just a thought....do you have or could you borrow a metal detector? Not sure what they can pick up but if something did fall off your bird and could be found by a metal detector quickly....you would have your proof.

Yea I think her legs are a gray to green color. She's not laying. I'm trying to remember when I bought her. She was just a week old and I think it was november.

I purchased her from a feed store along with a couple others that didn't survive the hawks down in FL. Was told Golden Comet. Made a move to our farm in KY and she's filling out nicely and as sweet as can be(husband says she thinks she's a dog). Chicken Little is what my granddaughter named...
