    Releasing chickens to turn wild.

If any of you guys are in Los Angeles, there is a colony of Feral Chickens living in Hollywood, California on the 101 Freeway! You should drive by and see them. I once counted about 20 chickens, when I was stuck in traffic. But people have said there are more! They live off on the right side...

    What Do You Call This?

    Breeding Different Color Chickens

I believe so... if you breed a Black Australorp with a White Hen (Leghorn, Plymouth, etc) then the chicks will come out black due to the Australorps genetics. And in future generations the F1 chicks will eventually produce white or off-white chicks. But if youre breeing black mutts with white...

    Breeding Different Color Chickens

I believe Black is dominate over ever other, most likely the chicks will be all black with some white leakage! Not 100% sure though.

    Inbreeding!?!?!?

Most likely the chicks came from a Chicken Farm, meaning the Hatchery has about a dozen roosters and 50 hens. So the chance of them being related is 25:1 Plus if they were, you can breed Sisters & Brothers, I do it breed them for 5 generation at the most before introducing new blood. Good Luck...
