    Maybe I'm being a little narrow minded....why would you want to move a breeder pen? It seems like, if on uneven ground, it would welcome attack from a number of predators.

    chocolate bantam cochin's? solid, mottled, splashed... anyone?

    Here are my two new acquisitions...forgive the picture quality. Obviously some room for improvement. These are young birds, not to POL yet for the pullet, and the cockerel is about the same age. This will be an ongoing project, and I hope to add several nice black pullets to make improvements :)

    Thanks for the response :) Pepper is out of a bantam cochin pen that contained mostly MF (the standard goldish/black/white), a silver penciled hen, and a partridge MF hen. By cross do you mean not bantam cochin, or not one particular pattern?
