    Chick with split tongue?

    I have some 6 day old chicks and one of them is breathing heavy and panting. I liked in her mouth and there is mucus and here tongue appears to be in half somehow. It like like it is split. Any help will be appreciated.

    My baby chick is breathing different form the others. She is a little weak and she keeps opening her mouth. I heard little clicking noises but now that’s gone.

    So I found her just laying on the ground in the chicken coop all muddy and not standing up. So I isolated her and gave her food and water and she began standing up and walking around but she is still not eating. She is drinking but she has this weird neck thing going on. Here is a video:

    She is about two years old. She’s on non GMO crumbles we get from our local Amish community. No there is nothing toxic in there. I do not know exactly how to check for eggbound but I think her bottom is supposed to be hard when a chicken has eggbound but her bottom is normal.
