Help! My chicken is bleeding!

Went out this morning and checked on our 6 week old chicks and found this girl:

We found her sulking in a corner and found that her vent was protruding and bleeding. We put some bleed stop powder on it and cleaned it out with water. We gave her som apple cider vinegar water and some egg yolks and separated her from the rest. We thought that maybe she didn’t have a problem and the others just pecked her or she had a problem and the others pecked and made it bleed.

How many birds and how much space in total coop and run?
And what exactly are you feeding them?

We have 16 birds and we are feeding them wet chicken food (I do not know the brand) and they are in a prob 12f by 6f cage. We have her separated

How about enrichment inside the cage to prevent boredom?
Could you please post some pictures of your setup?

Where is this cage positioned, indoors/garage or outdoors?

Could that be a small prolapse, too?

We thought that maybe she didn’t have a problem and the others just pecked her or she had a problem and the others pecked and made it bleed.

Looks like it might be prolapsed, possibly the cause of picking (especially if coupled with boredom)..

We have 16 birds

and they are in a prob 12f by 6f cage.

I would consider this as way too little space for 16 birds which will lead to all kinds of crowding issues such as vent or feather pecking/cannibalism etc.
