When will my chickens lay?
if any of them have red combs at 3 weeks they are a roo most likely. same if they have wattles they are just to young to have those to.- chickenbottom

When will my chickens lay?
most breeds lay around 6 months old some earlier some later but 6 months is average i would say. my black australorp layed at 30 weeks.and my b.os layed around 23 to 25 weeks and my slw layed around the same time my b.o's did. the weather shouldnt effect them to much depending on the climate...- chickenbottom

Anyone else ready for Daylight Savings to end?
It's warming up here a fair bit in Canberra, i think we are in for a horrible summer again Oh how i wish i had Air Con. Con of Daylight savings, the chickens wake up earlier, and then wake me up with their clucking to be let out of the coop hey nic havent talked to you in a while its like 37...- chickenbottom

what are you knitting now?
im trying to get a bunch of stuff made for our pecan festival here. im gonna share a booth with a friend. we kinda have a war going on (who makes the most money) lol she is crocheting and im of course knitting so we will see how that goes.- chickenbottom

well i just got back from seeing them. about half were gone from predators but still im very happy i got to see them and they hated the dry mealworms lol i will never spend 15 bucks on those things again lol- chickenbottom
